About us
The Swiss Network of Young Migration Scholars (SNyMS) is a non-profit association founded in Berne in 2014 which brings together academically young scholars from different scientific disciplines, universities and language regions working on migration related questions in Switzerland. It is also open to academic staff and professionals, to institutions and private persons with a special affiliation to the migration field in Switzerland.
The purposes of the SNyMS are to

Goals of the association
The Swiss Network of Young Migration Scholars is committed to bringing together young researchers in the field of migration studies in Switerland, no matter their academic discipline. The goals of the association as laid down in the statues are:
To provide a platform for cooperation, discussion and exchange for academics within the Migration Studies Research.
To disseminate information and share opportunities regarding Migration Studies Research.
To organize gatherings for academics within the Migration Studies Research.
To function as a public resource on Migration Studies Research.
Structure
The association consists of the following three entities:
The General Assembly, which consists of all the members of the Network and hold an ordinary meeting on an annual basis.
The Executive Committee, consisting of elected members of the association, which implements the decisions taken by the General Assembly and manages ongoing ativities of the Network.
The President who supervises the activities of the Executive Committee.
